Thank you for registering!
What's next?
We have sent you a detailed registration form by email. The form we sent you needs to be completed, signed, scanned and emailed back to us in the coming days. Please add as much information as possible.
The Australian Tax Office requires all employer details and Super Fund details. You must also give us power of attorney to deal with the ATO and your former employers on your behalf. Once complete please scan and email it back to us for review. You can also send your form by registered post (see address in email). If you have your final pay slips from each employer that would be a big help as well.
Are you claiming Superannuation back?
We need a notarized acknowledgment of your departure and identity;
a) The notarised copy of the page from your passport with Australian visa stamp on it and also dates of your entry to and departure from Australia.
b) Notarized proof of identity (a photo ID: a copy of your passport page or a drivers license)
c) Notarized copy of your visa.
Most Visas are now electronic and so your passport may not contain your visa expiration date.
If you do not have a copy of your visa, the Department of Immigration and Citizenship can issue a Verification of Status, a certificate created by them to enable foreign workers (temporary residents) to access their Superannuation Contributions when they leave the country. However Certificates of Status are not free, they cost $55 so just to be on the safe side it is a good idea to ensure, where possible, all Visa documents are provided to us.
The Form can be found here.
Details on the fees can be found here. Note you only need the status for Superannuation purposes.
That's it. Please email or call us at any time if you have any questions. We look forward to helping you get the maximum refund possible.
